This sculpture in solid bronze depicting a female silhouette, embodies an exploration of the verticality, momentum and the circulation of energy. The human figure, deliberately stylised, is part of an approach of abstract figurative sculpture, The body is suggested by a continuous, fluid, rising line. The slender form seems to rise naturally from the base, as if carried by an inner breath.
The work of curves and twists creates a dynamic, giving the sculpture an impression of constant movement. The raw texture of the bronze catches the light and reveals a relief that accentuates the sensation of life and vibration. Each variation in the surface contributes to the impression of a material in tension, both stable and in the process of becoming.
The silhouette, reduced to its essentials, evokes the human presence without freezing it in a realistic representation. This economy of formal means leaves room for interpretation and emotion, inviting the eye to move freely along the sculpture. The figure seems both anchored and ethereal, embodying a balance between strength and delicacy.
Made in solid bronze, This work asserts a strong presence in space, while retaining a great visual lightness. It is a natural choice for a contemporary interior, exhibition space or architectural environment, where it is in dialogue with light and emptiness.
This sculpture is a celebration of the essential, of inner movement and of the poetry of the human body transposed into a timeless form.
